The images “hack” nobody talks about – Put the digicam down

There’s an outdated saying that distance makes the center develop fonder – and it seems, it applies simply as nicely to images because it does to like. My journey behind the lens has been an extremely lucky one.

What began as a passion rapidly grew to become a job, then a full-blown profession that took me to the locations I as soon as dreamt of. And by some means, I’ve discovered myself full circle – as soon as once more photographing merely for the enjoyment of it, all whereas remaining immersed on the planet of images as a journalist. It’s uncommon. It’s fortunate. And it’s taught me quite a bit.

Maybe the most important lesson I’ve discovered alongside the best way isn’t one thing you’ll discover in a handbook or a YouTube tutorial. It’s this: the perfect factor you may typically do in your images is to cease. To take a break. Put the digicam down. Step again.
